DAY IN THE LIFE FEATURES FOR THE SCHOOL OF THE NEW YORK TIMES

The development of this feature began with a central challenge. We were looking for a feature format that would introduce our instructors and their many accomplishments, convey the excitement of their everyday lives, and demonstrate their authentic passion for their professions. I developed an approach that employs numbers to illuminate points of interests, a treatment that not only worked from a graphical standpoint but also provided a way for readers to immediately engage with the details of our instructors' daily lives.
